Author ruins the Omega series by having Captain Burke completely break character and “jump the shark” with incredibly sophomoric plot inventions. Impossible to tolerate the 3rd Chapter, which is so absurd that I started praying the fool Captain would die and end the story quickly. It’s bad enough to terminate the series for me, and it certainly prevents me from buying any more pulp from this author.
