I couldn’t finish this book. Even knowing it has an HEA, I couldn’t do it. I despise manipulation and the Druid aunt of the BIL binding the two MCs together and manipulating one MC before that was too much. Mal was an absolute ass. I wanted to scream at him to get into therapy and get off his butt and find someone to left the curse. The narration was consistent with the other books that I’ve listened to by this narrator, but it wasn’t enough. I didn’t make it through chapter 5. Absolutely horrible.
