I love a good royal/commoner romance, and this story’s set-up for the characters’ meeting was both cute and believable. However, the story’s conflict involves the hand-wringing main characters annoying each other and everyone around them with their inability to honestly communicate. Not sure how many times I yelled at the characters in frustration, “Just tell him!!” but apparently it was one too many times for my liking.
Another book by this author, the wonderful rockstar/regular-guy romance, “You’re My Beat” shows that she can totally “rock” the m/m romance genre. However, for me, “Wear it Like a Crown” simply didn’t sparkle.
