Perhaps my expectations were too high. ‘A Team of One’ does not measure up to The Gray Man, Mitch Rapp, John Rain, … The battle scenes were not captivating – I can’t put my finger on it, but they were just not engaging for me. Fortunately the characters and plot were better. The overall story was far fetched, but that is pretty common. So overall it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. Normally I’d dive into the series, but I have no desire to continue this one.
