I liked the first book in the duology and I liked this one just as much, it was nice, and more “magic relevant” but it was too long for this kind of story
The story is about Jude, he is Prudence twin brother from the first book, he is your typical nerd, he plays D&D and stick to himself most of the time (except with his best friend Ari ), one day he finds a “magical dice” that brought luck left and right, suddenly he is very popular, going out with the girl he was pining over for the last 4 years and everyone wants to be his friend .. but what happens when his luck runs out ? and why is he suddenly feeling strange feelings towards his best friend ?
the book was sweet, it did feel weird that it is from the guy’s POV and not dual but it had a nice feeling to it, I enjoyed the D&D missions specially on audio, but I wouldn’t say it was the best thing she wrote
