The idea that anyone would allow an AI this much control of a program with this many users and not have dozens of fail-safes is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve dealt with dumb premises before, but I stopped reading when I was tasked with suffering through multiple POV chapters with perhaps the most annoying and ridiculous villain I can remember reading. This book makes me annoyed at the people who recommended it.
