The VAs obviously kill it as usual from such great VAs, but the repeated idiocy from the protagonist gets old fast. He’s presented as this ultra smart experienced VR player yet makes repeated decisions that either entirely go against his previously established goals or outright don’t make sense in any way helpful to him. it’s sort of explained away because of (SPOILERS) his half NPC nature but that hardly helps when having to listen to him doing nonsense or complaining about settlement advancement when that is the goal. mini rant but good lord the protag is frustrating at the best of times and has made me stop listening for a bit at the worst.
