This series is my feel good, go to, fix a bad day, comfort reading favorite. It’s fun, funny, and an all over great story! Princess Donut the Queen Anne Chonk and Carl live rent free in my mind. To top it all off the voice acting is par none. I definitely thought the characters were voiced by separate narrators but was tickled to find out all voices (with the exception of a few guest narrators in specific books) are performed by Jeff Hays. These books aren’t just narrated they are performed, the voice acting is superb.
So if you enjoy a well written laugh, talking cats, and level upon level of new monsters and excitement I suggest giving Dungeon Crawler Carl a try!
