While it is still an engrossing story, the setting and dwellers of the new dungeon weren’t quite as interesting as in the earlier books. On the other hand, the character building of the main group and their interactions with other crawlers is top-notch. I actually fist-pumped at the death of a certain high-tier crawler. I’m definitely looking forward to the next one, and already have it purchased, ready to go!
