Shattered Skies is beautifully narrated by Andrew Tell and tells the harrowing beginning that humanity faces in the wake of disasterous meteorite strikes that makes their impacts across the country. We begin with Nick, who is a local, part time news anchor; that when the world is shattered, the news tower that Nick along with Tara could become trapped in a death trap if they don’t escape. And escaping the ruins is only the beginning, as Nick, Tara along with a man named Cha struggle not only to survive, where what humanity considered normal; is no longer available and everything has turned precious. We also get to known Nick’s wife Chris and her world upon a horse farm outside of New York and provides another angle to view the changing survivability of people as things turn more and more desperate.
A beautifully written end of the world thrill ride.
