Story: I absolutely loved this new facet of CF White’s writing! I have been a fan of her writing for a while and was super curious about this new type of stories. To say I was NOT disapointed is a huge understatement.

The book had me in a vice grip from page one. The tension and slow unveiling of the truth, coupled with measured doses of the tension and attraction between the MCs, sprinkled on top with so many complicated emotions, it all worked so well! It’s a challenge to balance the plot, heavy emotional layers and romantic subplot, but CF White pulled it off beautifully.

This new darker side of the author is a beauty to behold and I cannot recommend the book enough.
