Holy smokes Batman! Intense is the first word I can think of. Hot and creepy are other words. For starters, to enjoy this book you have to look past several realities of the times we live today, such as public videoing everything they see, a public official committing violent acts w/o so much as even a complaint. However; it works for this book and man-oh-man is it good. I purchased the audio version and although I haven’t typically been a fan of the male narrator in the past, for this book, his voice works wonders. The female narrator is great as well. I’m so happy to have stumbled on to this duet.
