This is the beginning of a serries that was hard to put down. A serries that is not done being written yet but I cant wait for the rest. I read this book then gobbled up all the others that are currently written (7 total). I have heard that there will be 10 or 11 books total, but well see.
The first book does a great job of pulling you into the universe. It bounces between action and exposition in well portioned intervals. This book and the serries uses lots of pop-culture references that only add to the fun of the read. It reminded me a bit like Ready Player One in that regard.
Almost better than the story is the narrator, Jeff Hays. All the voice overs are so well done. Each character has a unique sound and are lots of fun to listen to.
