I like the concept of this story, but the narrator had such a pompous, overacted way of reading that I genuinely couldn’t focus on the story. So who knows, maybe I would have loved it?
It has the potential for such great characters, yet our hero lacks a little bit of drive, there isn’t really anything he really truly wants. The supporting characters also have potential, but aren’t that deep. I might have enjoyed this one more on paper.
