I wanted a good Christmas story. I am NOT racist but this book went out of its way to talk about “black” people and their minority in this town. I am ok if it is discussed but Im on Chapter 5 and Im over it. Every chapter talks about it, repeating the same demographics. I am not going to listen any further. The narrators speak very clearly and almost too perfect and without emotion. im sorry to leave such a review but I didnt enjoy what I listened to. I think the story line might eventually be good but slow moving. I do not recommend this book.
