SPOILER I was really liking this until the obvious political leaning bared its ugly head. The author reveals that the first murders inside of this dungeon are feds, and instead of just leaving it at that, specifically names them as ICE agents. We get it, you’re a liberal. Leave your shitty political agendas out of the fantasy books. So tired of seeing this shit in the content I want to consume. And you really can’t know it until you’re already reading. You know HP Lovecraft was a known racist, but did those views make it into his works? NO. Might as well be Will’s gay monologue in Stranger Things.
