All in all, I would say I thoroughly enjoyed the books. The magic system could get a bit confusing at times especially with a bunch of skills with very similar names and we didn’t get much character development, but it was definitely worth listening to. (every time he gets an evolution having to hear this guy wheeze in pain definitely gets old quick.)
