Obviously Princess Donut was my favorite character. I liked how the relationship between her majesty and Carl grew throughout the book. I wasn’t expecting to like it as I am not obsessed with DND, but I did. As my daughter pretty much has the whole set, I’ll be reading the next one to see if book one was just a fluke. 😀
