I was expecting a dark romance. I may have a different idea of what that is. The spice is almost nonexistent. What little bit of spice there is isn’t very detailed. Hayden is a very good character. Strong, sexy, demanding, and dark. I’m all for him. Callie is good but weak. She needs more strong but submissive personality. I don’t think she can handle knowing Hayden’s true self and accepting him. But I’m going to find out in book 2. Cause I can’t not know. I’d definitely recommend this book if you like more story than spice.
