This is book 3 in the Bradley Legacy and this book focuses on Everleigh Bradly, a PR professional who is tasked with rehabbing the image of Maverick who was recently traded to Las Vegas after a series of PR snafus that have tarnished his image. Everleigh and Maverick have a “meet ugly” so when Everleigh finds out that Maverick is her new charge let’s just say their initial reactions don’t go well.
This is a bit of a slow burn as for probably about half the story they are essentially at each other’s throats despite their obvious attraction. When They start to see what is behind each other’s mask that’s when the story gets really interesting. And if you have read the previous books in the series you know that the Bradley Patriarch’s business dealings are just below the surface and ready to make everything difficult for the Bradley clan. Overall this is a solid story and worth reading if you are reading through the series, not my favorite of the 3 books so far but I enjoyed the story. I would highly recommend the audio. Believable tension and conflict and just the right amount of spice.
