I am so glad I got the trilogy. This way I just continued on listening without stopping. The trilogy is well written bringing to life the story of men and women during the early part of the 1800’s. Trapping, harsh winters, loneliness, love, battles with the Native Americans both good and bad were a part of the adventure. Each book told the story of a man and woman finding true love and included two generations. The narration was very good. Both my husband and I listened to these stories after dinner each night until we finished. We enjoyed the humor as well as we found ourselves laughing out loud during certain parts of the story. I recommend this series
