What would have made Darkbound better?
The characters were so predictable (along with the story) and the description of each personality was almost silly. The accents were really bad (especially the so called gang member)
I’m a New Yorker and ride the New York subways often. The description of the train cars..(“steel floors of the train”…they”re not steel) is off. The author should have done better research on our subway system.
Has Darkbound turned you off from other books in this genre?
Yes..Unfortunately I was using this book as a stepping stone into this genre
How could the performance have been better?
Not to have made the story and characters soooooo predictable. And this was supposed to be a surprise about each one? After a few chapters and I totally figured out what it was all about…I just went to the last chapter to confirm my prediction!…That’s sad!
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Darkbound?
Unfortunately ALL OF THEM and would have suggested the author start from scratch!
