The start is decent and the middle with the city building aspect as the MC builds up his goblin clan is entertaining. But where things start to get really good is when you see the stakes rise towards the end when the natural consequences of being stuck in a game with enemy mobs takes the logical course. The author didn’t shy away from exploring one of the more horrifying aspects of the MC’s situation and that’s pretty neat. Thankfully, the ending didn’t turn into a horror and the hook is set for more plot development.
