Good chemistry between main characters. The description of domestic abuse was not too graphic IMO; enough to get the point across–more description could give me the icks that it were being portrayed like a kink. instead, it rang true to my understanding of domestic abuse and I loved that caring about someone included learning about how to support someone emerging from that kind of situation. I liked the live interest being welcomed to the family ❤️
