I’m a huge fan of the Mars Trilogy… but somehow this felt sophomoric, especially with oversimplified essays and vignettes thrown in.
The motley crew of narrators hurt the flow, rather than adding depth or perspective.
KSR’s books have changed my life, but this one is a taint on that, even delving into scientism, sadly.
