Guys, this is am epic series! It has a bit of everything besides romance although the series isn’t over. There is humor, action, feel good action, gaming type scenarios, clever tricks and a lovable grump with a heart of gold and a sassy cat! I love that the humans are giving these aliens hell, and ruining their lives. I’ve finished book 7 and just turned right around and restarted them even though there are a bunch of books that I’ve bought. Don’t care! Each listen makes me realize or catch new things, there is a lot going on with a lot of characters but the way it’s done is so well an he reintroduces them when they aren’t super familiar. Carl is grumpy but absolutely lovable and kind even though he is also angry at what’s happened, he’s the hero everyone needs and Donut is funny even though she can be a bit rude and judgmental. The narrator is excellent! I swear one of the best and I’ve listened to soooo many books. Each voice is extremely distinctive and easy to tell who is who even with so many characters, his sounds add a lot to the story and the AI character is so well done I actually now yell out Ba Ba Ba Bossss Battleeeee when one comes up. There are so many twists and turns it keeps your interest and even at 29 hours for book 7 I was all there for it. Just buy it already!
