The biggest problem with this series isn’t that you’ll be disappointed. It’s that it may ruin all other books for you. Nobody else has this level of world building, complex character development, dramatic intensity, and bizarre, transgressive, emotionally affecting comedy. The first book starts out good and each following novel gets wildly better.
