For a Japanese inspired story that uses Japanese words, you’d think it would be important for the audiobook reader to have at least an incredibly basic understanding of how to say the words used in the story. Excellent book. Terrible choice of reader. To be clear, I don’t think Andrew Tell is a bad narrator by any means. But I wholeheartedly think he was an atrocious choice for this book in particular. If audiobook is your only way to read this book, it’s a good enough story to suffer through the unending mispronunciation, but if you have a different way to read it, do yourself a favor and do that
