This book fits into the dystopian genre well, which has become my favorite in recent years. The style is similar to writers such as Franklin Horton, A. American, and Tom Abrahams. Although brief, this book captured my attention and held my interest from start to finish. The events and situations have a realistic feel, and the characters are believable. I look forward to jumping into book 2, feeling hopeful the entire series won’t disappoint. So far so good.
