I made it to Ch 14 before quitting, might continue later, but I cant stand the characters in the book. The protagonist is a shallow loser with murderous tendencies, gives huge Incel vibes. All the other characters are nonexistent or shallow. Where are the likeable side characters? Where are the relatable coming-of-age experiences? Where are the complex moral questions? The book feels hollow
