By far Bentley Little’s best book; I’ve read it at least five times prior to listening to the audiobook. I highly recommend the book, but based on this narrator I can’t recommend the audiobook. The narrator was monotonous and robotic, with numerous mispronunciations and emphases placed on incorrect syllables. His rendition of the girls voices makes them sound slow and unintelligent. At times the narration directly contradicts the actual text, such as when Keyes speaks at the town hall in Chapter 11. Keyes is noted to have a smooth, confident voice, but the narrator makes him sound like an automated telemarketer. Read the book, skip the audiobook.
