5 well deserved stars for The Correspondent by Virginia Evans. This is a beautifully told and heartwarming story about Sybil, a 73 year old, woman who lives alone, is going blind and writes letters. The story is in fact told through these letters. For such a super short novel, there are so many layers to both the story and the characters. I got tears in my eyes multiple times. This is the kind of novel that sets the bar for all great storytelling. I loved it and highly recommend.
