Why does this book even have a genre? It’s for everyone, your mama, your sister, your cousin, hell- even your new born baby. In fact you should read this to your pets, so that in the event of a mass extinction event maybe they would have learned something.
Imagine living life working, playing video games, and enjoying LitRPG’s, and one day the world is taken over by aliens who are there to mine the Earth of ALL of its precious metals all at once instantly killing MOST of the Earths population.
Carl and Princess Donut are among the rest of the survivors given two options-
1. risk finding a way to survive on Earths now desolate surface in harsh winter conditions
Or
2. Fight for a chance to reclaim their lost matter from the Borrent corporation by completing level 18 of the world dungeon.
To avoid freezing to death, Carl and Princess Donut descend into the dungeon where they are now living life as REAL Lit-RPG players.
As someone who plays DnD and Pathfinder this book was an absolute joy to read. It was HILARIOUS, captivating, and now I have a new addiction. If you’re looking for a funny post-apocalyptic read that has you constantly wondering what’s going to happen next, THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU.

I of course listened to the audiobook while I read along and I have to give a huge shoutout to the great Jeff Hays- he literally brings this book to life. Every character has a distinct voice breathing life and emotion into all of the characters.
