It’s BOOM!! this is the second book of this series and the 4th time I’ve listened to it. it is action-packed, hilarious, oozing with backstreet and lore, gushing with gore, and also warm and fuzzy. It’s simply the best book series I’ve ever read and I greedily glurp up every morsel I can find. Matt Dinniman is a maestro at his art, and Jeff Hays is his fancy fancy puppet. This is definitely adult oriented, so don’t let Princess Donut fool you into thinking it’d be okay if your 9-year-old heard a little bit on your drive to school. That’s exactly when the most depraved, vomit-inducing scene is sure to start. It definitely won’t be while Carl is learning a valuable lesson about trust and vulnerability.
