Jeff Hays is a master audio narrator. This book is not only hilariously written by Matt Dinniman but the acting, voices and performance from Jeff Hays made this an absolute sensation.
The book centers around Carl and his ex-girlfriend’s cat Princess Donut as they get sucked into an interplanetary game show essentially about a world being turned into a giant dungeon like you’d play in a dungeon crawler style video game. Complete with leveling, race changes, achievements and more Carl comes into himself and his relationship with Donut and become an unstoppable duo.
You’d be missing out on one of the books I’ve ever heard if you skip out on this series. I literally just used all my spare credits to get all the current books, and pre-ordered the new one coming out in May
