It really is hard to put into a few words how this book made me feel. Suffice it to say… it made me FEEL something. The transformative experiences in all of the characters was extraordinary to watch unfold. Everything seemed deeply personal to the characters, and the superb performances really brought the story to life. As a letter writer myself, this hit close to home, especially with the practice of writing on (good) paper becoming alarming close to extinction. I now have a renewed sense of purpose and responsibility to carry Sybil’s torch.
