It was like a glimpse into someone’s thoughts about life that succeeded in creating a relatable character and storyline. For me it felt like a unique experience reading without all the extra language that most writers need to create and move a plot along. I, truly, felt that not only could I relate to Sybil, but I also thought I was learning what is this like to travel through the winter of life. I listen to the audible, but now I am searching for the paperback so I can reread the text and mark the spots that made me stop and ponder.
