I will never look at a hairless cat the same way again! That image is permanently burned into my brain.
The story is enjoyable, and I especially liked that the pets are strong characters in the storyline. At times, they felt a little too human and not quite animal enough to be believable, but that did not take away from the read. If anything, it made the story more amusing.
