Stumped

I really wanted to love this story. Thank goodness it was free.

I’ll listen to almost anything narrated by Joel Leslie…but in spite of his awesomeness, I finished this one under duress. I have a personal challenge to always finish a book, because there have been some wonderful-in-the-end books that I almost DNF. This was not one of those.

I never got a chance to like Logan at all! Just…no. Riley I tolerated about half the time. In fact, the only character that didn’t irritate me was the freaking medium…she made me laugh out loud (you’ll see, if you read or listen to it).

The overriding theme was SELFISHNESS…and obvious stupidity. How could the author spend so much time with all these jerks? Ughh.

However, I’m well aware of how different our collective tastes run, so give it a try, especially if it’s free. You’ll probably have more patience and tolerance (and even compassion) than I do.
