I ended up returning this title before I finished it. I listened for a few hours. I found it to be like reading Harry Potter but set in an Undead world. No spoilers. The students are of the dark (but not necessarily evil) and attend a school to learn magic and their trade (such as necromancy). I completely lost interest as the students geared up for a big sports competition. I felt like I was reading a rip off of Harry Potter and the big quidditch tournament. The level of storytelling is geared to a YA audience and to those who enjoy YA books. I enjoy YA books, but I still found the story development left me wanting me more out of the story and just wasn’t there. Overall, i couldn’t let myselg enjoy this because it seemed like a B movie (audiobook) rip off of Harry Potter.
