I pre-ordered this the moment I found out about it. I love Matt’s work, but this one is for one reason or another really hard for me to sink my teeth into. I constantly find myself lost in thought, distracted, or singing rather than being engaged in the story. To be honest, the only character I could name at this point is Roger. I WILL finish this book, and update my review once I do, but as of this moment, I’m just not feeling it. The writing itself is great, as usual. I see some people dislike Travis as narrator, but I have been a fan of his nearly as long as I have been of Hays, so no complaints here on that front.
