I read and loved this book when it was first released in print, but the audiobook was even better. The narrators are spot on, the world building is epic without being overdone, and the banter is chef’s kiss! I love a strong, intelligent FMC with a good dose of wit and sass and a great inner monologue, and Ever brings it all and more. I’ll be anxiously waiting for book two’s release on July 28. The wait may actually be the death of me!
