Jennifer Peel never misses for me! I love her romances- light, easy reads that are a perfect palette cleanser for all of the heaviness in the world. I am a sucker for lost love, break up and make up, second chance, lovers-enemies-lovers, miscommunication stories, and Professional Boundaries delivered! While there were certainly times I wanted to punch Ian, I am glad that he got his redemption arc and Kelly ended up happy in the end! I still think I’d hate him as a boss though 😂. I also loved all of the side characters, from their families to their work colleagues.
This was my first time listening to one of Jennifer’s books as an audiobook, and I was so happy with it! Stefanie did a great job as narrator (I listen to audiobooks as 1.5x speed for reference), and I hope to grab more audiobooks with this duo in the future!
