This was a book club book. I at first was not sure how I felt about the book. But as the book progressed I became to know Sybil in a different light.
To grieve the loss of a child changes, a person. The scream inside is behind everything they do and every decision they make Sybil‘s personality and her relationships were forever scarred.
The story was narrated in a beautiful way that is rarely seen today and every character revealed in a different facet of her personality.
I cried at the end. She was truly a tortured soul.
I believe she did find a way to make peace with her family, her friends, and most importantly with herself.
A single moment can change the trajectory of your life and affect all of your relationships going forward.
