I am not someone who DNFs books but if I did this would be one of them. I didn’t enjoy this book. The female narrator wasn’t right for this book. Her inflections didn’t fit the story and it felt out of place most of the time. The bouncing back and forth from youth to adult without all the information was just confusing and unhelpful for the story.
