I don’t care about a single character in this book. I want the main protagonist to die. I want his onlyfriends sister to die, his girlfriend, his 3rd friend, the annoying ai attendant… every single character on the planet, I want operation bounce house to be successful. That is how poorly I think these characters were developed. They are shallow, soulless paper weights. Sigh. It is like he wrote a book for young adults, that is full of cuss words. It doesn’t make sense, I know, but it relies on things like the team names and other childish things for its humor, instead of the situational type humor that you find in DCC. No one I know that has actually read this enjoyed it so I’d be leery of these 100% positive scores. Maybe I am just a hater but I love DCC, wanted the same tone/quality (i don’t need the same story) that I got out of Carl and I just can’t find it. This thing is only 10hrs long and it was a chore to get through. Bleh. Won’t be wasting any more credits on this series.
