Culpability is clearly the result of thorough research, and the premise itself is both educational and genuinely fascinating. I was deeply interested in the subject matter and the questions it raises. However, I feel compelled to warn future listeners about the extreme and excessive profanity throughout the book. Most disturbing was the frequent use of profane language by the children—often in front of their parents—along with a general tone of disrespect. It felt unnecessary and distracting, ultimately detracting from an otherwise compelling and thought-provoking story.
