Continuing this series with the audiobook. There is something about hearing Piers Ryman’s voice both Aaron and Kenny that you don’t get with reading the book. So, if you enjoyed reading the book, now is the perfect time to grab the audiobook version.
In this book, the relationship between Kenny and Aaron grows deeper. There is still the slow burn element but both men can’t deny the attraction they feel for one another.
The poise that Kenny presents actually is something that I really like about him. He does not always give into the temptation of Aaron. Yet this does not mean he does not care for him. For example, when he picked up Aaron from a party and cared for him.
“He wanted to consume every single thought Kenny had.”
Of the tender scene where the two of them share a dance together. I liked seeing these two talk and communicate. Not to say that the intimate scenes were not wanted and steamy.
The latter half of the story is where the steam picked up more and the pacing as well. I look forward to reading book three.
