I did a re-read of this book or I should say a listen to this book. I grabbed the audiobook and listened to it. Narrator, Piers Ryman is new to me. Yet I enjoyed listening to his voice. He did a great job by voicing both Aaron and Kenny.
Talk about an opening scene. From that first scene, I was hooked. Both Aaron and Kenny are hiding things. I was drawn to the mystery of them both. Although Aaron is more reckless. Kenny is more like Superman. Not in the sense that he is a hero but that he can hide his “other” persona.
To be honest, I expected to have more romantic moments between Aaron and Kenny, and I was ready for them. The few that I did get, I did enjoy. Although seeing that this series continues with more of a focus on Kenny next, I am sure we will get more interactions between Kenny and Aaron.
I do like where this story is going and am intrigued. I am very curious as to where it will end and look forward to reading the next book in this series.
