Grabbed this as a palate cleanser after too much grim dark thinking it would be fun and knowing Jeff Hays and Annie Ellicott can make anything fun to listen to. Ended up finding my new favorite LitRPG series.

Protagonist is a refreshing blend of practical and positive without falling into the OP special snowflake trap. If anything its sort of an inverse of that, a character that is unapologetically authentic with a strong value of those around him.

It became my next big recommend to friends and family (Dungeon Crawler Carl got me some credibility with most of them), Not everyone believed, but those who were willing to give it a try also have their new favorite LitRPG. Just a few more…
